Finding Grace in Nature during Challenging Times
The ethereal hand of the Divine comes to us through the grace of a beautiful breeze, a calming rain, a dreamy sky at dusk, and in so many other simple experiences. Grace is harmony, hope and gratitude. It is a heartfelt, pure and one-on-one conversation with God. Grace is a radiant feeling that can exist in all of us. It is a golden thread that connects us and leads us to our best selves.
The soul is full of wisdom and patience, and our soul’s intention is always just within us. When the mind is calm, the soul is able to guide. Intuition is a pure sense of our soul, full of brilliance and divination. Alignment with our intuition occurs when we listen to our true feelings. As the Native American proverb reminds us, “Our first teacher is our own heart.”
We must get out of our minds and into our hearts. Our heart is the center of our emotions and a more powerful gauge than our brain. If we soften the energies in our emotions, we soften our hearts and allow ourselves to hear the voice of silence. It is in this peace that the essence of source and grace flow effortlessly.
Give yourself the gift of being alone. Find the silence and connect to nature. Feel your soul. Kindle your graceful light. Feel the love that exists in your heart for everyone, especially yourself. Allow the energy and vibrations to come to you through your heart. Connect to it. Allow the Divine voice to be heard. Let your spirit speak to you. The heart lets us know when we are forcing something and when we are in alignment. Embrace and strengthen your internal connection to natural, comfortable feelings. As serenity spans your being, feel your mind empty of unnecessary clutter and simply trust. Go within and stay there. Get comfortable and observe as you emerge into your connected self, primed to soar to your highest level while radiating a forgiving and loving light. The more steeped you become in the silence, the more aware you become. The Divine guides each one of us, as we are ready.
When I walked through challenging seasons of my life, I found the more I stripped myself down, the more potent my life became. My connection to nature became more potent. My connection to God became more potent. The silence became more potent. The uncomfortable became comfortable. I grew into my soul by honoring everything and coming to stand in the integrity of the present moment. I withstood every powerful storm in my life and now felt the power of perpetual grace. I felt grace in my humility and in my courage. I felt it in my forgiveness and understanding. And I felt it deeply in my connection to God and the power of love.
Grace is finding a different language to speak to yourself and to others no matter your situation. It’s about changing the conversation in your head and in your heart and rising above the separation and into the grace that exists within all of us.
As much as we sometimes believe that we are a bundle of fear or regret, we are also a bundle of possibility. Step into the understanding that waits in the love that you seek and the love that has been within you all along. The most beautiful revelation is when you feel for the first time that this is where you’re supposed to be.
Challenge yourself to feel the pull and remember why you are here. Be honest, be kind to yourself and others, manifest grace in every aspect of your life and remember the wisdom of Khalil Gibran: “Your daily life is your temple and your religion.” Let the grace you speak not only be spoken before a meal, but also with every word. Shine the light on your goodness, and honor what is worthy. Be as windows flung wide open—giving and receiving a beautiful flow of fresh, clean energy that travels across the earth, affecting every life with love and grace.

Spring 2020 – a time of Quarantine
For me, Heidi @ Rise | Love | Live, to say the very least, has been weird, frustrating, maddening, fattening, and depressing. As I was coming out of my emotional prison I was given a wonderful gift of this beautiful excerpt found amongst many emails – a true gift from God that I needed to read last night.
I do hope that it speaks to you and moves you in the way that you need most, right now.
Stay with it. The wound is the place where the Light enters you.

Until next time … Peace and Blessings, Friends!
