A 5th Award – I am very grateful!

A 5th blogging award – how special! I am ever so thankful for my nomination from Swatti Sharrma who created the blog Simply Beautiful B. She writes and inspires us with posts and articles on the topics of:

  • Science and Technology
  • Life and Being Social
  • Beauty
  • Health

Her vast topics and her sweet personality are intriguing. On her profile page, Swatti tells us that she is a very scientific person, but yet enjoys and appreciates art, creativity, and innovation.

I have enjoyed getting to know Swatti over Social Media and look forward to seeing her inspirational quotes, pictures, and GIFs!

Thank you, Swatti for this award!

Three Facts About Me

  • Cooking, I love to cook! Not baking, but cooking. I enjoy combining seasonings together to create delectable meals for my family. Usually, healthy ones – fish, chicken, roasted veggies and the like, but every now and then – steak and potatoes – yum!
  • I receive pure joy from singing. I am blessed to be able to sing soprano in our church’s contemporary praise band, Stained Glass. I have been singing since the 6th grade, I even sang a solo! Our music leader is amazing! She pushes us hard (in a good way) to create a beautiful worshipful experience for those that attend the contemporary service.
  • Like Swatti, I truly enjoy being creative. I take great delight using that creativity pairing beautiful photos from Unsplash along with inspiring and motivating quotes, poems, and songs.

  My Questions from Swatti

1. What is a mystery to you – nature, the universe, or the brain? Which one you do select and why?

Nature – this is not a short answer and I can probably create a blog post just on this topic. Nature fascinates me. When I was 15 years old I wanted to be a Marine Biologist – I guess fate didn’t have that in my cards, but to this day I remain enchanted by the ocean and the beautiful life it holds.

2. Do you have a pet as a family member and do people and things sound mysterious to them?

We have three fur-babies. Two cats and a dog. I don’t think they find life mysterious, but I know the UPS guy irks the dog!

3. What does beauty mean to you?

That’s a bit of a trick question, for me. Yes, I fuss over my hair and I never leave the house without mascara, but true beauty? That’s on the inside – how one treats others, how one is (or isn’t) gracious if someone next to them makes a mistake. How one cares for others. The sweet, loving, kind folks? They are beautiful ones!

4. Do you think you’re mysterious? If yes, then what makes you mysterious?

No, not really. I’m fairly predictable and always seek to be dependable!

5. Do you think you are funny? Define yourself in one line.

Yes, sometimes, I can get a good laugh out of my husband, kids, and friends! I am good-hearted and always want to make sure that everyone is happy!

My Nominees are …

I have to admit, this part always takes me the longest.

I take care to comb through my list of friends and followers, but not everyone is a blogger!

I seek to nominate “G-rated” writers. There are a number of friends out on Twitter, who are great writers, but they don’t really fit the G rating.

Because I have been nominated for a few other awards I also try to not repeat my nominees. We are coming up on a new year, so I think I can begin the repeats soon! Whew!!

So, without further ado and in no particular order, here are my nominees for today’s Mystery Award:

These bloggers are coming to you with a variety of genres from Parent Tips to Traveling to Wellness. I invite you to check them out and perhaps add to your reading list.

The Nominees have Five Questions to Answer:

  1. What do you think is the best service a blogger can provide to his/her readers?
  2. What was your greatest failure and what did you learn from that?
  3. What do you do in your spare time?
  4. If you could have been a child prodigy, what would you have wanted to be skilled at?
  5. And the funny one (sort-of) – Would you rather have someone special bring you breakfast in bed tomorrow morning or be able to sleep in as late as you want?

My most popular posts:

I hope you enjoyed learning a little more about me and will take some time to get to know a few of my friends!

Until next time … Peace and Blessings, Friends!
