Hello and welcome to my SECOND Sunshine Blogger Award.

I am humbled and oh so proud of myself that my community of bloggers respects and thinks so highly of me. Thank you!!

1.) Which of your blog posts is your favorite?

Usually one of my music posts gets the limelight, but I am currently going through another “purge phase” in our house – so I will give my “Purging with Purpose” article a little love.

2.) What is your favorite color?

Excluding clothes – PINK!

3.) What is your favorite food?

Steak – a really, really amazing medium-rare steak (with a fabulous Cab of course!). Followed only by a healthier option, Branzino!

4.) Do you have a secret talent?

Yes, and I don’t know that it is a secret from my family, but I have the uncanny ability to cry at ridiculous things. For example, almost all Hallmark Christmas movies and The Holiday Folgers commercial – you know the one where the son comes home and surprises his parents!

5.) Which season (spring, winter, summer, fall) is your favorite?

Summer – definitely summer!

6.) What song would be your theme or anthem?

7.) Who is your favorite celebrity?

This one is a hard question – I have so many! Diane Keaten, Susan Sarandon, Emily Blunt, and Kate Mara. And there are so many more, I happened to head down the Actress path, but we could list comedians – Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, and Billy Crystal. Or simply fabulous people like Oprah, Ellen, Deepak Chopra, and Michelle Obama.

8.) Do you have a favorite book?

S.H.A.P.E.: Finding and Fulfilling Your Unique Purpose for Life by Erik Rees. Oh, and of course, Charlotte’s Web!

9.) Do you have a favorite movie?

Another excellent and hard question – I’ll have to go with The Notebook.

10.) Do you have a tv show that you’re binging on right now?

I just finished re-watching Sex and the City (inclusive of both movies) and my husband & I watch 24 (Jack Bauer) on a regular basis.

11.) What is the one thing you love most about blogging?

The creative aspect. I love making an idea for an article come to life with my personal experiences and research. And then tying quotes and pictures back to the article to also post on social media.

What I find most fun about these awards, is doing the research to learn more about my fellow bloggers, what they are passionate about and what drives them to write.

Sure, I communicate with these folks on Twitter and/or Instagram daily – responding to cute Monday Morning GIFs, etc., but I love taking a concentrated hour or two and really checking out each blog. Seeking to pass on quality options to my readers!
